The Dustin Kensrue Artist Series StingRay Guitar blends innovation and versatility, perfectly crafted for the dynamic style of Dustin Kensrue, renowned solo artist and frontman of the rock band Thrice. Featuring an okoume body, 22 stainless steel frets, and a maple neck with a dark classic tint, this guitar delivers effortless playability with its asymmetrical C-shaped neck. It’s equipped with custom Music Man humbucker and single-coil pickups, a concentric volume/tone knob, and a unique stereo push-button switch that routes both pickups directly to the jack—sending the humbucker to the tip and the single coil to the ring for expanded output options. Available in Dark Satin Tobacco, TV Blonde, and the new-for-2025 Daiquiri Ice, this StingRay combines striking aesthetics with unparalleled tone and versatility to meet the demands of any stage or studio.

When the button is elevated, the standard neck/combined/bridge selections are routed to a mono output. In button-down mode, the circuit engages each pickup individually. It delivers signals to a stereo output for processing via two amplifiers or two channels on your amplifier or modeling amp.
The Dustin Kensrue signature guitar features a Music Man Stingray RS Alnico Humbucking pickup complimented with a custom-designed alnico single-coil pickup for a wide range of tonal options.

The back neck profile provides a thicker carve towards the bass side of the neck and thins out near the treble side of the neck, allowing for a more comfortable playing experience under the fingertips.
Hand-selected body and neck woods are sustainably sourced from our network of hardwood suppliers worldwide. Okoume, maple, and rosewood are individually chosen and matched for their beautiful appearance and rich tonal qualities.
